In November 2016, Transprojets Global Marine was tasked with exporting a Manitowoc 18000 crane from Lagos, Nigeria to South Korea.
The crawler crane, with a total capacity of 600 tons, had already been disassembled by the loader in the free zone in Lagos.
The parts, from the boom to the main body of the crane, weighed between 3 and 55 tons.
The transport operations required the use of two mobile cranes and 30 trucks, before loading on barges and shipment to the port of Apapa.
Once the customs formalities were over, Transprojets Global Marine loaded the parts of the crane onto the chartered ship and made the trouble-free delivery to the port of Busan.
